Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will patients see results?
    Optimal results for rejuvenation and scanning are typically seen after 4 monthly treatments. Outcomes depend on proper skin condition, chosen treatment parameters or laser settings.
  • What is the average treatment time?
    A treatment typically lasts between 10-40 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
  • Average recovery period or downtime?
    There is no downtime with scanning or tracing blood vessels. However, Fractional Rejuvenation treatments may darken pigment for up to 3-5 days before lightening or sloughing off. If ablating raised lesions they will be active for 5-7 days, with a 4-6 week return to normal state.
  • What areas can be treated?
    Face, neck, decollete, torso and legs. For vascular treatments, avoid use on ankles & feet.
  • Are treatments painful?
    Depending on the energy settings and the patient's pain threshold, he/she may experience a brief stinging sensation, similar to a bug bite. Use of integrated contact cooling and/or cold packs greatly improves patient comfort. Note: Treatments are typically performed without a local anaesthetic, or numbing.
  • Is training included?
    Yes, training is included for up to five (5) staff with each purchase. Staff will be trained on theory & application, including current protocols & techniques. Refresher training sessions are also available upon request.
  • Do you provide Laser Safety Officer training?
    We can provide LSO training & certification, if required.
  • Is the ProYellow FDA & Health Canada authorized?
    Yes. The ProYellow is both FDA & Health Canada Licensed. USA Class IV Canada Class III Medical Device
  • Do you offer depot service?
    Yes. As the ProYellow laser is compact, it can shipped directly to the Distributor or Manufacturer for repair. This avoids expensive travel & accommodation charges associated with onsite repairs.
  • How long is the warranty?
    Purchase of a new QuadroStar ProYellow includes 1 full year warranty, plus an additional year when a client registers their device with Asclepion.
  • Is there a shot limit?
    No, there are no shot limits or caps.
  • How long will the diode last?
    The ProYellow typically operates at less than 10% of its capacity. This means the diodes can last 10 years or more (under normal working conditions) before being replaced.
  • Are there any consumables?
    The fiber optic cable is the only consumable. Typically, the fiber lasts 18 months or more depending on use.
  • Can I move the laser between rooms or locations?
    Yes. The ProYellow laser is light and compact and can easily be wheeled between clinic rooms. And a transport case can be provided for moving the laser between clinic locations.
  • Do you have patient marketing materials?
    Yes. We have both print & digital materials available for every new clinic.
  • Do you provide consulting services?
    Yes. We can advise on marketing strategy, service offerings, price points, in addition to clinical training.
